My new puppy!

My sister-in-law moved to a new house with her new boyfriend, and they couldn't afford the pet deposits for their three dogs, do I agreed to take Fred.
.
He won't be coming to my house until he goes gets his boys cut. That will be Nov.18th.
I figured that would help keep some of the problems down.
Mojo is gonna be great friends with him I know because they are both hyper and love to chase and be chased. A small size difference, but I don't think that will be a problem. But they are about the same age Mojo is October to February older.
I just can't wait for Fred to become a member of our household

Latest project...

One baby blanket for my new nephew that will be here on October 1st.
Thought it quite funny when I got home with the fabric that the name of the collection it comes from is Mariner, considering the daddy is in the Navy.
The fabric is much prettier in person.
I couldn't get the lighting right.

My boy and his beer bottle

video
Ok my dog loves beer. I mean he LOVES beer.
If he sees you with a bottle he will hunt down to find an empty one and try to trade you for it.
And the only other thing he loves more is squeaky toys.
Well his Nana found a squeaky beer bottle at Tuesday Mornings and got it for him.
And he loves to drive us nuts with it.

one step closer

Well last night we started making juice out of the prickly pears.
It is the most beautiful fuchsia color! I think it would be great for some natural dyed yarn.
We are looking at close to two gallons of juice from this batch of pears. Then comes jelly making time!!!
