New craftiness...is that even a word?
Any way since I ran out of tape last night which meant no packing I decided to work on my online swaps I have to finish.
I did this for the All Craft Exchange on Yahoo groups.
The theme is flowers so this is what my interpertation is.
I am going to put it in a frame I got at Ikea last week.
And then for my swap sister from the Lady of Steeles Yahoo group I made these two pillows.
She said she liked sheep, stars, willow trees and salt box houses.
I hope she likes these.

Blah....
I haven't been the least bit crafty!
I haven't held needle, thread and fabric since Sunday night!
But I have been busting ass to get the house packed up.
I sleep from 4AM until 11PM then I get up cook breakfast for hubby, then start dinner at 4.
So he can go be at work at 6PM.
That is when I start getting busy doing my thing. Packing!
We have window guys coming next weekend and I have to have everything 3 feet away from the windows.
And since we shall be painting and installing new floors and ceilings after we get windows I am packing everything up and putting it in the storage shed out back.(well I pack, load down the kitchen table with boxes, and hubby puts them in the shed)
Hopefully after the windows are put back in I can finish the quilt I started, I have to find time to finish the wall hanging for a trade. Shit need to see when that one has to be sent off.

TRUE FRIENDSHIP
Dog retrieves his best friend - a cat buried in the garden
A pet dog missed the family’s dead cat so much that he dug up his grave and brought the body back into the house.
When Oscar’s owners woke up the next morning they discovered the dog curled up beside Arthur, the late cat, in his basket.
His owners, Robert Bell, 73, and his wife, Mavis, of Wigan, Greater Manchester,England believe that the dog had licked the cat clean before falling asleep.
Mr Bell said that the two pets were constant companions. Arthur, who was a large cat, used to help Oscar to climb on to the sofa.
Oscar, an 18-month-old Lancashire Heeler, had watched Mr Bell dig a grave in the garden and then lower the cat into the hole.Mr Bell said: “He had managed to climb out through the cat flap in the night, obviously with the intent to get Arthur back. Bearing in mind that Arthur was a huge cat, Oscar must have used all the strength he could muster.
“Then he pulled him into the basket and went to sleep next to him. Arthur’s coat was gleaming white. Oscar had obviously licked him clean. It must have taken him nearly all night.”
Arthur is now reburied in a secure grave. And Oscar has a new playmate, a kitten called Limpet.

TGIF!!!
With the week we have had I am glad it is the weekend!!!
I get a phone call on Wednesday morning at 6, it was hubby calling from work, (he usually gets off work at that time) we had the following conversation...
HUBBY: hey sweetie what are you doing
ME: sleeping, but fixing to get up and get ready for work, what are you doing?
HUBBY: nothing I just got hit by a truck
ME:what?
HUBBY:i said i just got hit by a truck
ME: what kind?
HUBBY:a pick up
ME: what was you in? (he is truck driver so i didn't know if it was his truck or a work truck)
HUBBY:a chair
ME: a what?
HUBBY:a chair in the break room
ME: what the fuck happened!?!?! are you ok?
HUBBY:i was sitting in the break room having a cup of coffee before i came home and the dispatcher's wife drove thru the wall and hit me, her brakes failed, i am fine just sore.
Oh and the good part they sent HIM to the doc for a pee test!!!
He was the victim!!!
Not that I thought he would fail it (i don't see that happening ever!)
Just the matter of principle that the victim have to be tested!
Any way he had X-rays done and nothing broke just bruised and tight.
But man I never want to be woke up like that again!
Here a few pics he took of the scene.
The lockers on the floor went under him as he went across the room!

I am in love....
I bought some Myers lemons at Central Market up in Ft.Worth the other day.
Four of those babies made over a liter of lemonade!
They are the sweetest lemons I have ever had, and the juiciest!
As soon as I started cutting them in half I had to put them over a bowl to catch the juice that was flowing from them!!!
I have to go back and get more of those lovelies!!!

A gift for an aunt
I have done this set of towels for one of my aunts.
I have four more sets to go.
Oh and ther is only one tiny strawberry in the opposite corner on the Tuesday towel.
The collage software I used put two of them in to balance it out.

Been offline for a few days
Which landed on the garage as you can tell from the pic.
No damage to the garage but it also landed on our phone line and ripped it out of the house.
Since hubby and I are both sick we had to wait until we had a weekend to fix it in the day light.
Any way that was our excitement for the week.
